Anna Silk is a Fredericton native, the daughter Peter Silk, who was an academic. Her mother, Ilkay Silk, had many talents, including being able to act, direct and produce plays, as well as write them, teach, and be Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Anna Silk is the child of a Briton as well as a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. In her early years Anna appeared in a number of television commercials. In November 1999, Anna made the move to Toronto to advance her acting career. She ended up making the move in Los Angeles, California, within the next decade. She met Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an acting training held in Los Angeles, and they were engaged in 2009. Anna converted to Judaism in the month of January, 2011, and the couple renewed their vows during a Jewish wedding in Fredericton. Bo's romance with Lauren, portrayed by Zoie Parker, was showcased in the list of CNN's Top TV Couples that have ever existed and named as E!'s Top TV Couple in 2013. Entertainment Television.
