The crown was awarded to her Miss Columbus in 1985 after kissing the crown, and beating the competition. As a result of her victory, Miss Georgia 1985 was eligible to compete in that pageant. The tournament was also hers on the 22nd of June 1985. In September 1985, Mohr represented Georgia at Georgia's participation in Miss America 1986 Pageant held in Atlantic City (New Jersey) after her victory. Mohr did not make it to the Top 10 Finalist for the Miss America title.
