Zoe Saldana, born June 19th, 1978 was the daughter of Asalia Nazario along with Aridio Saldana. Her father was Dominican and her mother Puerto Rican. Her family was from Queens, New York. After she turned 10 years old, older her family and she were relocated into the Dominican Republic, where they lived for the next seven years. Zoe started to discover a love for performance dance while she was living in Dominican Republic. At the prestigious ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy Zoe was taught ballet as well as other styles of dance. Apart from giving a place to express creativity for the young and enthusiastic student, her dance training proved as a crucial factor to her first professional career as an actor. At age 17, Zoe and her family returned in America. United States where her love for dancing grew and her interest in theater performance became stronger. Zoe not only held her own but also earned respect from the likes of Steven Spielberg, Jerry Bruckheimer, Keira, Knightley, Ashton Kutcher and Orlando Bloom. Co-stars have acknowledged her for her amazing talent, her intense concentration as well as her determination to succeed, her ability to work in challenging roles, involving subjects and characters that are diverse in addition to her determination. Deutch and creator Katie Silberman will then reunite for their second romantic comedies, Most Dangerous Game. Deutch worked with Silberman on Netflix's Set It Up 2018 hit.
