Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963 into an incredibly musical family from Newark New Jersey is the daughter of gospel star Cissy Houston and John Russell Houston Jr. Also, she is the sister of singer Dionne Warwick. When she was a little girl, Houston began singing professionally in her church's choir. She was a backing vocalist for Chaka Khosn's single from 1978 Im Every Woman with her mom. She sold 44,000,000 copies. In the same year, she got married to the former New Edition singer Bobby Brown with whom she had her only child their daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, born in March 1993. Dana Bash or Dana Ruth Schwartz as she is more commonly known as an American anchorwoman reporter who also serves as CNN's political correspondent.
