Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny February 3 1950) is an American actor from the United States. The actress became popular during the 1970s and 1980s due to her roles as an actress on television shows. Her glamorous appearance was frequently the main focus of these shows. Fairchild was first noticed as Jennifer Pace in Search for Tomorrow, a CBS show that aired on a daytime basis from 1973 until 1977. After appearing on Dallas the show, in which she portrayed Jenna Wade as the very first actress in primetime, Fairchild moved on to the NBC program Flamingo Road. For this role she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in 1980 for the Best Actress for a Television Series - Drama. She co-starred with ABC on the soap Paper Dolls in 1984. In addition, she was on the show as Jordan Roberts in Falcon Crest from 1985 to 1986. Fairchild was actively involved in theatre as well as appearances on television shows like Roseanne, Cybill and Friends as well as Murphy Brown. For the latter she won the Primetime Emmy Award. She is also a member of the board of SAG-AFTRA. She was born in Louisville Kentucky to a hotel director and homemaker, Lawson was a passionate performer from a young stage of her life. At the age eight she started performing in local theatre productions. Following her graduation of an all girls Catholic secondary school. Maggie Lawson's career began at eight, when she first participated in theatre productions. Then she relocated to Los Angeles for her first television pilot at 15. In 1996 and 1997, she shot her first television pilot in the city of Los Angeles.
